Calculate the force required to move a car with a mass of 11,000 kg and an acceleration of .03 m/s^2.
What is the mass of a man who gets in the above car which then requires a force of 340 N to continue having an acceleration of .03 m/s^2?
IF #2 Part 2 - The goal is to learn how to use the force equation to calculate weight on planet Earth.
1. Pick any object that begins with the letter F.
2. Pick any number between 50 and 100.
3. Write the problem and answer the question.
Calculate the weight (force) of a ______(2)_______ kg _____(1)__________. Remember ......Force = mass x acceleration
Weight = mass x 9.8 m/s^2
Notes - The goal is to learn what momentum is and how to calculate it.
